Masculine Gender
Definition:
Masculine gender is a grammatical gender that:
- marks nouns having human or animal male referents
- often marks nouns having referents that do not have distinctions of sex
Examples:

- el hombre ‘the man’
- el gallino ‘the rooster’
- el libro ‘the book’
